Kansas City native Stephanie Charlton was bitten by "the bug" at the ripe old age of 7 after starring as a butterfly in a school play and she hasn't stopped since. For the past 23 years she has been making her mark in the theater world, locally as well as nationally.

She has had the wonderful privilege of working as an actor with many theater companies, including (but not limited to) Theater for Young America, the Barn Players, Metropolitan Ensemble Theater, Mind's Eye Theatre, Shawnee Mission Theater in the Park, Seem to Be Players, and The Mystery Train, to name a few.

When not on stage or behind the scenes, Stephanie can be found playing her flute, singing, hanging out with her three four-legged furry "kids", or racking up the miles in her favorite running shoes.

Along with performing, Stephanie is a teaching artist with The Coterie and Starlight Theater where she spends her time exploring many imaginary lands and characters, as well as delving further into the nitty gritty of plays, music and theater with her amazing students.

Currently she is venturing into new territory and working with the wonderful Boston Children's Theatre and can't wait to see what the East Coast has to offer!
